The Garden is Busting with Color & Wedding Themed Cigar Box Felted and Crazy Quilted

Beautiful friends ~ I've had you all on my mind!
I thought I'd share a few pics of my garden ~ its been exploding with blooms.

Am I the only one that forgets the names of just about every flower! For all the hours I spend working in my garden, I could never become a gardening  "miss know-it-all" for that very reason.

Impatiens are one of my favorite fill in's for areas that need a burst of color all season. Here is Conn. they stay pretty well into October usually. I always plant two plants per hole and they seem to fill in so quickly!

The most heavenly ~ I just want to dive inside these fluffy blooms. Nothing is quite as exciting as that special moment in May when the Peony's are ready to bloom!

Look at the sweet little bleeding hearts blooming right in the bird bath!

I found this beautiful book "Roses and Lilies" by Longfellow at a book sale. I could hardly believe the amazing condition it was in for being 118 years old!!!
It is 30 days of wisdom and encouragement and just as relevant today as it was then.

I made a felted book envelope to slip it into for storage. There are three hearts hidden in the silk flowers ~ I thought it would be a lovely "I love you" gift to a friend or spouse.

My etsy shop where you will find " Roses and Lilies"

I made these little felt shoes for my new granddaughter Gia ~ pics coming soon!

More peony's from my garden ~ the colors remind me of peppermint salt water taffy!

I made this bridal bouquet wrap for a friends daughter out of her grandmothers wedding dress.

On the inside I did machine embroidery in blue for her "something blue."

I presented it in a crazy quilted cigar box with vintage sheet music on the inside.

This is the front of the cigar box ~ aren't they a gorgeous couple!

I'm wishing you a happy spring! Remember that you are LOVED. I have so much more to share ~ I'll be back very soon!

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

What a beautiful garden! I could help you with the names not sure of the first one? Could it be azalea? Beautiful work!

You are so sweet Gabriela! I think it might have been a close up of Forget Me Nots but the azaleas were still in bloom so you might be right!! Wishing you a happy 4th! Feel loved , be blessedđź’•
