Early Fri. morning ~ I heard a huge THUMP on my bedroom window. I looked out and saw nothing. When I went downstairs to let my dogs out ~ I saw a lifeless baby bird lying on my deck. It was pouring rain and he was soaked. I wrapped him in paper towels and held him in my hands ~ asking God to put life back in his body. When he appeared dry ~ I placed him in a dry paper towel in a cup on my deck table. I went in to get breakfast and when I went to check back on him ~ his eyes were starting to open. As I prayed ~ he began to "wake up" ! I went out to take his picture ~ just after this shot ~ he flew off to a tree on the far side of my yard! Matt. 6 : 25, 26 ~ Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life.........Look at the birds in the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not more valuable than they?

That is soooo Cute!!!
How wonderful that you saved this little bird. I once jumped out of my friends car in a drive thru to save a bird that had just hit the pick up window and fell under the car in front of us. The people freaked out as I was yelling for them not to move. The bird was stunned, and as soon as I placed it under a nearby bush, it flew away. I enjoyed reading this.
